Have you any further details about William Lawrence, born 1818? Our William married Eleanor Haskew in 1845 in Lambeth, Surrey. At the time he was a Gent who lived at North Brixton. His father was recorded as William Lawrence on the certificate. The couple went to Chile where they had a number of children (William, Dora, Christy as well as some others) In 1913 the children were left 300 pounds by their Uncle Henry Haskew. They lived in Concepcion, Chile at that time.
Could this be the same man? He died in 1863 in the Santaigo Cathedral fire.
