I am looking for any information on the history of my fathers family. My father was ROBERT JAMES LEWIS born 23rd August 1921 in Lower Coronation Street, Tredegar, Monmouthshire. His parents were JOHN ANTHONY LEWIS AND MARY JANE TRAVENEN. My father had brothers called Ronnie, Alfie and Richard and sisters called Naomi, Joyce and Elizabeth. Elizabeth died in childhood. His grandfathers name was RICHARD LEWIS and he was an Iron Moulder. I think that Elizabeth A Evans may have been a relative and James Travenan may have been the brother or uncle of my grandmother. It seems most of the family came from Tredegar so anyone who can help, please get in touch, I would love to hear from you. |
