Thomas Morgan Lewis b. abt 1845 in England or Wales. Thomas moved to Edinburgh where he married Mariana Ballantine in 1870. He was a Butler then Bank Messenger and died in Edinburgh aged 65 in 1911. But where was he born and does anyone know anything of his father, John Lewis (Coachman), and mother, Sarah Morgan? All I know of them is that Sarah died before Thomas' marriage in 1871. Thomas has his birth as being in Wales in the 1871 census, but England in the 1891 and 1901 censuses (when living in Edinburgh). Any help in tracing Thomas, his mother and father would be gratefully received. Thanks, Ken |
