I have some photographs on postcards which we found going through my mother's cousin's house recently, since he died, and they show a Mr and Mrs Louis H Burvenich (Victorian by the look of them) together with their two dogs, one black and one white (both terrier types).

The address at the bottom of the cards is Rock Cottage, 76 The Dale, Woodseats, Nr Sheffield.

I'm wondering if there a possibility that they were friends of my cousin's family? My mum's cousin was Stanley Holt - his parents were Albert and Margaret (Meg) Holt. Albert came from Burnley originally, but ended up in Morecambe, Lancashire. Meg's family were from Lancaster.

I know they are not members of our family, but these pictures might mean something to someone.
