Trying to find mapplebeck

Hope somebody out there can help. I'm looking for a Thomas Mapplebeck born in early 1800's He was at one time a merchant seaman. In 1865 in flora lane Plymouth Devon his daughter was born her name was Lavinia. On his daughter Lavinia's birth certificate under occupation it stated he was "late a seaman in merchant service now a travelling showman." Her mother was Eliza Mapplebeck Formerly Sharna, this may have been heard and spelt incorrectly, as I cannot find Sharna or charna anywhere. I could be Sharmon/an |
