My Great Grandad George Mason, (born Tompkin) came to Workington in about 1915 and moved in with a family of Masons. My Great Grandad changed his name to Mason which we have only just discovered, which as you can imagine, has caused a few problems trying to find my ancestors. He married his second wife, Ginny, Jeanne?, who was from Salterbeck. Does anyone have this information in their family. Carrie |
