Hi i am trying to trace the parents of alexander McCahon born northern ireland,and also his wife. I know they had a child Margaret McCahon born 1894c who married a Thomas Mcfaul in 8/4/1914 in Coleraine Northern Ireland, Thomas died 1918 in the war and Margaret remarried to a David Keers 6/7/1921 again in Coleraine Northern Ireland. Any information on Alexander would be greatly appreciated please. Thanks Jackie

Jackie...The details AOGG has listed re Alex.(Bushmills) may be a connection as I have found details of Thomas McFaul and he came from Bushmills ( providing it is the same one)...died 29 Sept.1918. Thomas was the son of Campbell and Esther McFaul...his obit does not however mention a Wife..!!

I am trying to find the keers and the McCahon line, i know that david keers father was robert keers ie 1911 census but Robert was a widower so trying to find his wifes (Davids mothers) details without buying birth cert etc. 1911 census residing at:- Residents of 2 in Danes Hill (Ballylagan, Londonderry, parish of coleraine.)

As per AOGG finds..the Alex. McCahon who married Eliz.Norris well...that was in 1846...if MGt was born 1896 that would put her parents in their 70s at their youngest..!!!

Have found a possible for Robert snrs. Birth...Ariclave Co Derry

Robert Keers (Transc.Kers) b. 1867 son of Robert KEERS and Mary McCandless.
I cross ref.with parents names and also found a James KEERS b. 28 April 1865.

Jackie...Have just cross checked the Keers (1911) and find that Rbt. son of Rbt and Mary is possibly the family living Bannbrook...age corresponds ..

I will take alook at that thankyou, i found a robert (widow) aged 50 b1861c and son robert aged 25 b1886c. david b1890c and alice b1893c. living at danes ballylogan, parish of coleraine.
