Member Since: November 2004 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hey I am trying to do research in order to hopefully do a family tree and I am completely stuck. My surname is McGaw, my family come from the Ayrshire area of Scotland. Does anyone know the history of the name and where it originates from? I have been told that it is of irish descent,and others have said that its scottish, some say that it is a small contingent of a larger clan. Please help I have tried doing searchs online and I have been unable to find anything. Thanks G.C. McGaw
