trying to trace Mcgee/Ellis Liverpool

i would be gratefull for any info on the following
i was born john joseph mcgee in liverpool 1946 my sister josephine bridgette was born in 1948 our parents split up
and i was brought up by my gran alice ellis her husband was owen ellis,josephine was sent to an convent,nazereth house in crosby liverpool.
i was brought up by my gran until she died in 1953
i was then placed in an orphanage in fazakerley(cottage homes)
i spent 50 years trying to find josephine and when i did find her she had died only months earlier.leaving 5 wonderfull kids

family that i think i know about :- mother margaret ethel ellis born approx 1926/30 married charles francis mcgee about 1945/6
i had an aunt born elizabeth ellis and an uncle jack ellis who i believe lived in manchester.
this is all the info that i have dont know if mother is still alive
father died in the 80s as far as i know.
any info would be very helpfull.it would be nice to know if i have anyone out there.
