Jim Mcintyre i am trying to trace the birth record of my great grandfather Andrew Mcintyre..i know he died in 1944 in Hamilton Scotland and his age would indicate that he was born around 1850...he was married to Catherine Mclean (or Maclean ) in 1885 at Helensborough Scotland..by the tme my grandfather William was born in 1895 he was with my great grand mother Martha(Hyde) and they stayed together for life though i can find no record of them getting married my grandfather William had six sons Andrew..James (my father)Colin Davey..Ian and Gordon..do these names mean anything to anyone? |
