Trying to find McQuillan

I am trying to find information anout Thomas McQuillan born about 1897.He lived in Glasgow in 1919.He won the DCM in the first world war.He was a lance corporal and served in the 2nd battalion tank corp.I am his granddaughter and have his medals etc.but do not know what he was awarded the DCM for.If you can help me or put me in touch with someone who can I will be very grateful. He married Catherine McLuckie on 20.09.1919 in Glasgow He lived at 22 East George St.Kilmarnock.She lived at 63 Bonnington Sq.Kilmarnock.
