Looking for James 45, Margaret 45, dau.Margaret 18, sons Malcolm 16, Donald 9, Simon 5, & dau Mary 1. In 1841 they were with my gggrandfather James Gordon in Inverness. His mother was a McRae and these people may be relations. I am unable to find them anywhere - did they emmigrate? Shirley

Hi Shirley,
This may not be a lot of help -- but there are
McRaes in the Falkland Is; my mothers sister married a Donald McRae ( who was probably born late 1890's early 1900's ) I know that his mother was in the Falklands as I've heard my mum talking about her. My aunt and Uncles daughter had a son about 1945 ( just a rough guess there ) whom she named James.
