Hi I'm Elizabeth Mew I am 33 years old. There are a lot of Mews in the West Midlands as my grandfather had a large family. Some are scattered in Norfolk but they are prominent in the Midlands. Our name derives from people looking after the royal birds in the royal mews way back in history - so I am led to believe. My great grandfather was called Isaac Mew and my grandfather was Eric Mew - as is my father and he is the last of the line or so it appears. Anyone know of any Mews in those areas - Id love to find out! Elizabeth |
