Hiya I am trying to trace my family tree and thought I would start of with my grandad's family, since he's a bit of a mystery... His name is john Moore (jackie) he was born 1929 in Greenock renfrewshire, youngest son of John moore who died in 1934 and margaret McMillan who died 1941. They also had two other children James and helen (corkindale). My granda was very young when both his parents died and was bought up by his brother, therefore doesn't know much about any other family other than step brothers and sisters he has. Before his dad was married to Margaret mcMillan he was Married to Fiona Knoxs they had four kids Bessie (Bell), Tommy, Cissy and Joe (who we think was bought up in Northern Ireland). Fiona died gaving birth to Joe. I would be grateful if this jogs anyone memories. I would like to know if any of my grandads brothers and sisters / step are still alive and if they have any further info on who margaret McMillan and John Moore mother and father may have been. thanks |
