Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	I wonder if anybody can help me. I've recently started to trace my family tree on my father's side. My name is Patrick Sean Mowatt, born in Gloucestershire, England in 1962. My father, Patrick Joseph Mowatt (Paddy) was born in 1938 and came over in 1953 from County Wexford, Eire. He has older brothers, John and Robert (Bobby) and a sister Kitty. His father John Mowatt (Jack) 1881-1955 married Anastatia Eley (Statia) 1911-1942, both from County Wexford. I don' know any thing about the Eley family yet. Jack had 2 sisters, Mary-Ellen Kehoe and Christina Mowatt. Now it starts getting vague. I don't know Jack's fathers name, when he was born or died. Also not sure if he was Irish or Scottish, although Kitty thinks he was Scottish. He married Catherine Cowman who I think was from Shielbaggan, New Ross, Wexford. she died in 1931 and had a brother John Cowman who died in 1908. Iknow nothing more about the Cowman's. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Sean. P.S. I'm also trying to find out general Mowatt history, their coat of arms and their tartan. Many Thanks.
