I am trying to find out information of the Muff family that was associated with Brown & Muff store in Bradford. My great grandfather was Alfred Muff, of the above family and as far as I know he was outcast from the family because he married Ethel Womersley who had a child out of wed-lock called Gladys Womersley. Can anyone please help

My grandmother, Mary Ann Rawnsley, nee Harrop, her mother was Ann Harrop nee Muff she always said her mother was part of the Brown & Muff family of Bradford, Ann Muff was born 1839 and died 19.1.06 age 67 years, Todate I have never been able to verify this. I wonder if Alfred Muff was related in anyway.
