MURPHY, Daniel. My great-grandfather Daniel was born to Daniel and Johanna Murphy (Johanna nee Hart) on 1 December 1825. He had 5 siblings, John 23.10.1820. Johanna 28.10.1819. Catherine 23.12.1817. Bridget 3.08.1816. Patrick 14.11.1812. Great-grandfater Daniel came to Australia aboard the 'British Empire' Sept. 1857 married Irish girl, Mary Bonner (nee Lalor) in Portland Victoria Australia in Feb.1860. One of Daniel's sisters came to Australia, settling in Casterton Vic.Aust., prior to Daniel's arrival. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone out there? I hope so as I need more info. regards Maureen |
