CRISPIN....Please has anyone any information on the early years of Thomas Murphy and Eliza Crispin married 1866 in Liverpool. Thomas was a Miller.(father Martin a Miller) Eliza's father was Thomas Crispin ( Engineer ) They moved to Ireland and the first birth I can find is a daughter Mary 20/1/1871 in Dublin .Anne born 8/4/1873 County Kildare . Co Kildare. Thomas born 23/5/1875 Tipperary (died 1905 Govan,Glasgow) Patrick Joseph and Sarah (no birth records) . My Grandfather Martin was born 24/12/1882 Ballyshannon, Donegal (died 1924 Govan,Glasgow) he had a young sister Bridget. By 1892 the family were back in Dublin where my widowed G.Grandmother married Daniel Cunningham. The 1901 Census Glasgow confirms Eliza Crispin was English. Daniel died 1902 in Glasgow. If you recognise any of this please leave a message , I know nothing about my Great Grandmother's family. Many thanks. May Murphy |
