I am tryng to trace the Nairn family from Darvel in Ayrshire. Alexander Nairn married Janet Young (Loudon) in 1840, they had 4 children Janet 1842b Johnstone, m william Brown: John married Mary Black in 1866, Isabella b 1856 and alexander b1859. Any info greatly appreciated. Many thanks June Nairn

William Nairn, a farmer in Dunlop 1778-1858 had a son Cuthbert 1809-1896, was a grocer in Johnstone, married Catherine Anderson on 11/3/1833 and produced a son William in 1834 who also became a grocer in Johnstone. Any help? Charles
