Back on this one, I'm trying to assist my relative Sheila.
We now have discovered the family in 1891 and 1901 in u.k. Where this time both Mary and William confess they were born in Ireland.
We hav not researched Ireland before, and would like help with the next area of research,
We do not know exactly where they were born, so can't isolate marriage place.
Any suggestions please,
In 1911 he is 47 and she is 46. Married 27 years,
1901 they are both 40 and live in Middleton
1891 they are both 26 Born ireland, on each census he was a paper mill worker.

What should be our next research area, knowing the lack of Irish census?

Not seeing a birth registered for Lily (using Nash / Eustace with varied spellings) but census says also born Middleton so Oldham RD

I don't see any marriage in Ireland.

There were several Mary Eustaces born in Ireland around 1865-ish, which isn't helpful.
There were also several William Nashes in Ireland 1865-66 (searched 1858-67)

There's this birth which might fit Radcliffe - though Radcliffe's actually in Bury reg district:

OK so this is what I now have.
My Grandma on my mums side was KATE PYE nee NASH
Her Dad was WILLIAM NASH. Born c 1864
Her Mum was MARY nee EUSTACE. c 1865

Kate was born c 1894
Her brother LUKE was born c. 1898
these were the only two I actually knew in my childhood.
At that time we lived in Radcliffe (Bury District) (1950s)
They had lived in Radcliffe for several decades by then, But it was assumed that their parents were from Ireland.
My own research came to a brick wall until I got a birth certificate from my brother,
which is for MARY EUSTACE. Born 17 December 1864
Parents DENIS Eustace and JANE Eustace nee NORTON
The address on the cert. is Howards Lane, Roundtown, Rathfarnham South Dublin.
Pretty exciting stuff!

So now I am about to look for further info on William Nash. And a wedding cert for William and Mary.

Following Catherine's comments above, concerning the Mary eustace, living at Portugal street Manchester, it seems her father Michael eustace died in Dublin 3.4.1869 according to roneustace.com.
As she is another likely candidate for a Mary.. Can anyone help with finding the Foys later. I cannot find a suitable death for Frances or Martin, nor what happened to the daughter Frances.
