Hi, My name is James Ness. My father was James Ness (1924-1980) and his father was Andrew (1887 - 1967). Andrew's father was Thomas Ness born circa 1855. I am looking for more info on Thomas and his ancestors (his wife Annie McKim too). My own family lived in Milngavie, Glasgow but I believe my ancestors moved to the area from Fife. I would be very pleased to hear from anyone who can help. Merry Christmas James Ness

My mother is a Ness, and was born in St. Andrews, Fife, she is interested in the Ness family tree, but hasn't done any research, do you have a tree? Her name is Ann Ness, her father James Cairns Ness (aged 86 now).

I have an Isabella Ness (Factory Hand) married (1877) to my Great Grandfather John Law. That would be in the Fruechie Area Perhaps classed as Falkland. One of the witnesses was Andrew Ness
