I have a John New born about 1772 in Sulham Berkshire in my tree. I am a descendant of his brother Francis New born 1761. If this is the John you are looking for information on, then his parents were William New (from Shrivenham Berkshire b. about 1733) and Martha (year and place of birth unknown). His grandparents were Thomas New b. 1705 Farringdon Berkshire and Ann Watts b. 1711. His great-grandparents were Benjamin New b. 1675 and Alice and his greast-great-grandparents were Thomas Nue (a misprint of New?) and Ann (dates and places of birth unknown). I hope this is of help. |
