Hi!
I'm trying to find out more about William and Mary Ledner - mn Prett - were born and who there parents are. Their son - James born 1843 - is my grt-grt-grandfather. Would also like to know where they were married and when they died. James was born at Elmstone in Kent. I would also like to know why James put his father's name as John on his marriage certificate, and if Eliza Elzabeth Ledner was related to this fmaily and how, as she was present when James died in 1874. Did William die and Mary married John? At the time of James' death, they were in Ash, Kent. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank-you.
