Trying to find Nugent

Nugents from Tandragee, Northern Ireland, Co Armagh. I'm trying to trace my grandmother's family. I believe there might have been a sister to my gr grandfather who moved to Scotland either to marry, or soon after she was married. I don't know her married name but I believe she had 14 or 16 sons. Her name was possibly, Ellen, born about 1872. My gr grandfather (Charles Francis Nugent) was in the Boer War. I believe he might have had cousins in Tandragee, too, by the name of Nugent.

Hi Helen,

I'm not convinced of a link here, different dates, but you never know. My GGGM was Helena/Helen Nugent. married a Samuel McConville and moved to Scotland. They appear in 1871 census in Glasgow area. Her father was Martin Nugent. Lots of children but not 16 sons so I guess chances are slim.
