I desc from William PALMER born at Long Sutton in Somerset about 1776. He married Elizabeth PERRY at Long Sutton in 1801, Elizabeth died at Long Sutton in 1835. William then married Ann GILLETT at Kingsdon, Somerset in 1835. William had quite a few children from these marriages, some died in infancy or childhood but those who survived seem to have all stayed in Long Sutton or very close by. In fact I think all the PALMERs in the 1861-1901 census are Williams desc. Please do contact me if you are connected to William in any way :) Lynda

I have Samuel Palmer born in Long Sutton in 1795......the only information that I have is that he joined the army and married Rosa from Portugal...they settled in Martock and he died there in 1877

Have you any information to suggest that he may be one of yours
Cheers
