hi, my great great grandfather was john parnell, (pannell) born 1836. we think in ireland but he lived in st helens area. he was illiterate so not sure of correct spelling. his daughter mary parnell, pannell, born 1858 married john connor, born 1854. they had 9 kids including my grandad john connor born 1883 who married annie behan born 1889. their son john connor, 1917 was my father. we cant seem to find any parnells or pannells from the st helens area yet they and the behans and connors lived there for some time. if you think you have a connection i would be very happy. thanks, mary connor parris
