I am searching for any information that may lead to the parents of my grandmother Doris Peach, on her birth Certificate the mother is named as Dora Eleanor Peach, name of child(my grandmother) Doris Hickson, the mother was a domestic Servant at the time of my granmother's birth, no father is mentioned on the birth certificate, my grandmother was born in Beverley, Yorkshire in a Dog & Duck Lane was the address, anyone that may know something of my grandmother, please get in touch, without information it is impossible to research. My grandmother was adopted according to the 1901 census to a John Harding-Whitwell, any information would be appreciated. Thanks Christine Devine (nee Durham) |
