l am trying to find more info for my father in law who will be 90 at end of this month would love to present him with tree he is wilfred pearce born 1918 in salvation army mothers hospital in clapton heis father was james william pearce c.1892 possibly of london. he moved to mansfield notts either b4 or after marriage to lily rendell they had 3 children alfred stanley and wilfred he was born in 1918 james william died in 1926 in mansfield was run over by bus james williams father was israel hope someone can help me l have snippets of info but cannot be sure if they nare right pearces thanking you anne p just found out that israel came from sidmouth devon that way when younger he had a plot of sand that he did sand sculptures on and made money that way did qite well he then moved to mansfield as a miner helped to sink clipstone pit and was in miners rescue at one pit when thetre was a big gas explosion l have no dates at all though
