Trying to find out about the family of William George Peet of Croydon. His son Eric Alfred, b.1909 in Croydon was married to my Aunt. Eric's mother, Ellen nee Tyrell died a few days after his birth. I know he had one brother whose name I believe was Sid, and he had two sisters whose names I do not know, and my Uncle also talked of having a niece but I never knew her name. One of my Uncle's sisters was Nanny to the children of the American actor Jackie Gleason, and was apparently killed in a tornado in Florida, probably before World War II. |
