I am trying to trace my grandfather, Alf or Fred Perry (could be Alfred). Born in approximately 1900, he was a gardener in Lancashire and played (I think clarinet and saxaphone) in a (Big Band) Jazz or Swing Band in Southport. He met and had a fling with my grandmother, Florence May Deakin from Shropshire in 1926 (my father was born in 1927). If any of his descendents are out there I would love to find out more.
