Agnes Russell b. 1753 both in Shotts James Pettigrew m.Janet Steel in Wishaw Lanarks in 1820's. Thomas Pettigrew b.1829 m.Janet Smith 4/7/1856. Their children: James Pettigrew m.Jane Stark 1888. James died in a pit disaster in 1902. Agnes P. m. George Tait 1884 Thomas P. m Isabella Cairns 1886. I know they had at least the following children - James 1887, Mary c1887, Janet 1889 and Marion 1891. Isabella Pettigrew m.Samuel McMaster 1891 Marion Pettigrew m. John Henshelwood 1891 Jane Pettigrew m. Alexander Watson 1902 Grace Pettigrew m. Robert Little 1898 William Pettigrew (1879-1927) m. Jessie Blair McIntyre 1920 William was my grandfather. He died when my father was very young and we have no contact with many of the other branches of the family. Would love to fill in the gaps.
