Roy Pickett I believe I am related to the Picketts of Streatham. My 2xG.Grandfather William Pickett was born around 1791, married Sophia Pool at St. James Piccadilly, had Sarah Susannah, Elijah, Frederick, Sophia, Hannah, William Thomas and George, and I know something of all of these. He was a bricklayer and mason who helped build the railways, and ended his life as an inspector of works on the Great Northern Rly. He was killed in a railway accident on the line a Gt. Stukeley Nr. Huntingdon 30th October 1857 when he was living in Biggleswade. His wife survived him until 1886 at Biggleswade. I believe William was the son of Phillip Pickett, bricklayer, of Streatham, and later of Tooting Graveney and Sydenham. Can anyone confirm or deny?
