my father is john pierce. born in dublin,ireland c1932. not sure of his fathers name,maybe albert.his mothers name was elizabeth murphy. they came to london to find work approx 1937, leaving behind their other children who were older. one i know was my fathers sister anne. not sure of other names. elzibeth sadly died and albert(?) abandoned his son. luckily the old lady who owned the house in which they were lodging took him in and cared for him untill she died in the late 40s early 50s. am trying to trace any family we may have left. any news no matter how small please. many thanks, victoria. |
