My Grand-father was Michael Pierce, born 1890. I am not sure where he was born but I imagine he lived and died in the same place, Enniscorthy, Wexford, Ireland. His wife was called Annie. Her maiden name was Wilson. Poor old gal died before I was born, her in 1956, I was born in 1960, in Birmingham, UK. I have a ton of relatives in Wexford, but most are on my dads side (Doyle). I know very little about my moms family. She lived and grew up in Lower Shannon, Enniscorthy, was educated by those mean nuns, escaped to England when she was 14, went back in early 56 when her mom became ill , then met my dad a a couple of years later, and eventually moved to England before I was born in 1960, so that dad could find work. I have relatives in London on moms side ( pierces), in Ireland on dads side (Doyles) and Moloneys on my sisters side ( Limerick). We are spread all over the place <lol> |
