My mother's mother was married twice. She was born around 1887 in Liverpool. Her maiden name was Sarah Guy. Her first husband had the surname Power. Their children were George (Georgie), Alfred (Alfie, was in the Royal Navy, died in the second world war), Mary (stillborn), Sarah (known as Sally, she married a James Forsyth and had 4 children including Billy, Joan and Dennis), Arthur, William (known as Billy), Joseph (known as Joey) and Lillian (known as Lil/Lily, married Eric Finnegan). She went on to marry a William James Harrison and had two more children - James and Alice. Any help welcome. |
