Rabinowitz or (Fineburg) was the Jewish maiden name of my grandmother Eva Rabinowitz 1906 - C1988 her father was Joseph Rabinowitz who settled in Liverpool. She married Albert Houghton on 31rd March 1926 at the Liverpool register office. I was told the family was originally from Russia. Eva divorced and possible remarried with the new name Rippon, moving to Plumstead London, I think. She had a sisters called Lilly, Renee and a brother called Max. Any information to fill in the pieces would be great and how to possibly find out more regarding Joseph's dates and the family line. Regards Ian Andrew Houghton |
