im looking for any info re my maternal grandmother. She was Ellen born c1910 as one of 18 children born to her mother Catherine(maiden name Day) Her father was Nicholas Ring. She had siblings named Michael, Daniel and Elizabeth others either did not survive or are unknown to me. Her sister Imelda went to Minnisota to become a nun. Nan married a Cornelius Twomey who died whilst she was carrying her youngest daughter Eileen - her elder daughters being Kathleen and Noreen - in 1938 ish. On coming to England in 1948 contact with family seems to have ceased and I would dearly love to find out any info joanne |
