I would like to talk to anyone with any Ryan connection from the Birdhill area in Tipperary Co, Ireland. To be more specific, James Farrell migrated to NSW Australia in 1864 with his sister Mary with their fares being paid for by their cousin James Ryan who migrated to NSW a year or two earlier. His brothers John Farrell and Michael Farrell did the same a year or two earlier as well. The parents listed on the immigration records are John Farrell and Bridget (nee - unknown). Whilst Mary listed both parents as living, James records the father John as deceased. However, there were a number of Ryan’s from the Birdhill area who migrated to NSW and I’d love to hear from anyone, with any lead. Cheers Martin |
