Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 4 Send Message	My name is Jan Harris and I would like some information about my grandmothers family.Her name was ADA FLORENCE SANDERS (1897-1966) she was born in either BERMONDSEY or SOUTHWARK,LONDON.She married my grandfather GEORGE SAMUEL HOOPER in 1924, and had 2 daughters EILEEN JOYCE( my mother) and VIOLET (known as VI).ADA FLORENCE'S mothers name was Charlotte I dont know her fathers christian name. They lived in SPA Rd ,BERMONDSEY and owned a sweet shop.ADA was one of 16 children of which 10 survived. Five sisters.ROSE(nee BROWN had 5 boys and 1 girl named MAUREEN). LIL(one son who was killed at Normandy. DOLLY(nee RICE)2 children HARRY AND JEAN.NAN(nee SMART),3 boys husbands name was FREDDIE.IVY(nee GRIMES). And 3 brothers.JOHN,HARRY known as GEORGE, and JIM. just hope theres someone out there who knows something.
