Moira Towler (nee Sheard) Trying to find descendents of Edmund Sheard, born West Yorkshire in 1855, died Farnsfield,Nottinghamshire 1892, wife called Louisa a son Charles Owen and daughter Florence living in Southwell, Nottinghamshire in 1901. Edmund was my Great Great Uncle. His daughter Florence married an Alexander Guy Wills from London, this was a second marriage for him and he had 2 children from that previous marriage, a daughter Bessie and a son Geoffery. Florence and Alexander lived in Sydenham, London and had no children. He died in 1964, I do not know when Florence died. I am interested in finding more about Charles Owen as I can find no trace after the 1901 census. His mother Louisa made her daughter Florence executor of her will rather than himself which is unusual and didn't leave him much money either! Maybe he emigrated?

Hello, my name is Stan Sheard, while trying to trace my family tree I came across the same William as you have. I'm trying to trace back my fathers side, I think his father would be the Charles you have mentioned above who was the son of Louisa and brother to Florence. Unfortunately we to have hit a snag. We traced back to a 1861 to find a Harriot and William who we think are the parents of Louisa, our problem is we need to find information a bit closer to the period of 1901 - 1910 about Charles Sheard, who may have been my grandfather, this will then help me in researching more of my father Sydney Charles Sheard. If you do have any information that could help us we would be very grateful.
