There are many Shepherds on this site, or people who should be related to this family. My family came from Gloucester, in particular from the following areas: Frampton, Frampton Cotterel, Down End and Iron Acton. I go back as far as William Shepherd and Mary Alsop, married 23 Apr 1786 in Iron Acton, Gloucester. Then down via William and Sarah (Andrews), then Christopher and Martha (Gibbs) to Henry and Emma (Colborn), then to my grandfather, Francis Henry Shepherd Born 1865. Francis Henry Shepherd (my Grandfather) migrated to Australia in the late 1890's. My line in England seems to have dissapeared since Henry and Emma's time. Is there any one who can supply information on children for any of these couples. Many thanks in anticipation |
