Do you have a William Simmons that disappeared in the 1860s? The only information that I have is his name. Family rumour says that at some point in his life he was a scenic artist at the Drury Lane Theatre. He had two children with Elizabeth Cooley in Chelsea Middlesex but I am unable to trace the marriage. Was he already married as I believe he was a lot older than her. She died in 1875 aged 33 and we believe that he died soon afterwards. Only info on William that I have is his name on the childrens birth certificates. |
