George Simpson Born 1914

Am trying to find out more about my paternal great grandfather George Simpson, born about 1914 in England.
But i can't figure out where he was born!! There are about 7 George Henry simpson's born in 1914! I know George's father's name was Charles Simpson. On George's wedding certificate it lists a Nellie Simpson as a witness, but i dont know if this is his mother or sister!
I know he was married to Lilian Ashley, born 1916 and they had four daughters, Kay Norma, June (born about 1945), Ann (born about 1947) and Judy (born about 1948).
I know that they emigrated to Kenya about 1960 and then settled in Johannesburg, South Africa about 1975.
I don't know when George or Lilian died or anything about their earlier lives.

If anybody can give me any help or pointers it would be much appreciated!
