seeking relatives or info on ancestors of Emily Simpson who married Ethelbert Porter a navy diver and lived in Portland. emily had children Ethelbert, Fred, Kathleen, Alfreda Ann, Jakc, Don, Bernard and Edna Porter. Ethelbert worked in a portland quarry, Fred, Don and Bernard joined the Armny Jack joined the Navy. Kathleen married a soldier, Alfreda Ann married a marine, Edna married a sailor who died on the Tarpon at Scapa Flow. She lives in New Zealand. Emilys' husband Ethelbert had a brother Steven who worked the Cunard line on the Mauritania. Steven married Dolly. there may hae been another brother, Wilfred. |
