Hi can anyone out there Help me I'm trying to find any information on my Great Grandad William Smith (yes I know there is loads of them).. All I know is that he was Born in Sunderland on 31st March 1893 according to the information I have his father was also called William Smith and his mother was called Annie Francis he Live in Durham as far as I'm aware he was also a choir boy in Durham Cathedral He married Anne Martin in 1912 they had 8 childern together:- William Smith - 1912 John M Smith - 1914 (Also known as Jack Alfred Smith - 1916 Norman Smith - 1919 Olive Mary Smith - 1923 Alan Smith - 1924 Doreen smith - 1926 Ronald Smith - 1929 He then seperated from my great nana Anne Martin in ruffly 1932 and went down South somewhere I know he also served in the 1st ww and that one of his sons John M Smith (also got called Jack) went down to live with him. He also never actual got divorced from my great nana Anne Martin as no one could find him at the time to able the divorced to go through. I have completely hit a brick wall with finding any information on him as no one in the family ever saw him when he went down to South. Please if anyone can help let me know. Cheers Andrea
