My father Arthur Albert Soane and his sister Violet were born in Portsmouth. My father was born 7th April 1928. His father was Albert Edward Soane born 1901, was in Navy. My grandmother was Dorethy May Knight she was born 1904. The couple were married on 23rd August 1924 while living at 40 Mayo Street Landport Portsmouth. My dad went into the marines as a teenager and stayed in there till his thirties. He married my mother in 1968. If you have any information on any of the people mentioned then please get in touch. alberts dad was Walter c1881. i have come to a stand still, its like they just were not here before that. Susan |
