I am trying to find out information about my gt gt grandmother emma Southgate's family. She was b c 1830 I'm not sure where. She married Aaron Ribbands (Ribbons, Ribbans or even Revans, if you go back far enough.) at St Matthew's church in Ipswich, on the 24th September 1852. Aaron was a farmer. They had 13 children together before Emma died c1873, shortly after giving birth to my Gt Grandmother Harriet. Any information or possible leads would be gratefully appreciated, Tery.

Hi Tery,

You didn't say your HANCOCK name, the mother of Harriet, but if she is any relation of Charles & Elizabeth who moved to Ipswich around 1817 and went on to have a son Ebenezer, then yes, I can help.
