Does anyone have any information about my grandfather William Christopher Sprinks who was born in 1885 in Camberwell. He married Frances Priscilla Sprinks in 1910 but I have no information about his parents or siblings. Jill

Hi Jill,

I am researching the Sprinks family and I think that your William Christopher Sprinks was the son of George Sprinks & Sarah Laflin. In order to check this out you would need to get his birth certificate. The reference is: December quarter of 1885 1d 959 Camberwell, this should give you the names of both parents. If I am correct their marriage certificate would give you their fathers names the reference for this is: June quarter of 1882 4a 911 Bosmere. They had another child: Anna Marie born 1883. If you can confirm that I am on the right track, I will be able to get you back to the 1700's.

Regards, Joan
