STEPHEN family of THURSO, CAITHNESS, SCOTLAND. We are trying to trace any family related to my great grand parents David and Margaret Stephen nee (Williamson). Margaret came from Halkirk, Caithness. On 1881 Cencus the address was given as Crosskirk where David was a fisherman they had five children. Catherine E M Stephen b1862 Mary Stephen b 1864 Margaret A M Stephen b 1866 David J Stephen b1869 John C Stephen b 1872. In 1892 their address was Sandside, Reay, Caithness. where David was a fisherman pilot. David James Stephen married Jane Murray in 1892 in Dornoch and they settled in Lairg, Sutherland where David was a blacksmith, they had eight children. Margaret b 19th June 1893 David b 18th June 1894 Donald b 13th December 1896 Catherine Jane b 10th November 1898 Mary Barbara b 14th October 1902 Earnest b 19th December 1904 John William b 7th February 1907 (my father) Alester Macaulay b 13th February 1914. Is there any ancesters related to these people out there, we would like to here from you. Anthony and Brenda Stephen.
