It is rather unlikely, but there MAY be a link with part of a STONE family I am looking for in South London. My Great Grandfather, Moses Stone (b. near Bath 1817) had two wives. I descend from the second, and know all their resulting relations down to the present day, but I know very little of the four children he had by his first wife in Bristol, Harriet Buckland, except that a son called Harry moved to London in about 1865 and had at least one son. It should be possible to trace them through Birth, Marriage and Death Records, or Cencus results, but I have had no luck so far. John Stone |
